Golden cheese balls. Tiny pan-fried dumplings. Kimchi fried rice. Seafood pancakes. Beef kalbi. There’s always room for something this bright, and pop, and substantial, to counter all the Tobaks and The Grills. But ultimately, the bee bim bab (rice topped with beef, vegetables and fried egg) with a heart as big as Seoul is what you’re here for, and there’s a load of chilli pepper paste – a whopping scarlet load of it, in fact – to tuck into. A very pleasant place, to say the least.
